  Pale, weak rim; loads of up front red fruit & American oak; plush, cosseted tannins, ample; approachable & comfortable, modern. Good future ahead.

  Nice spicy Rioja with an oaky finish. Drank a few years to early, hold if you have the patience - blackcurrant, vanilla, blackberry, leather, cedar, plum, medium plus body, smooth finish.

  Not really my type of wine. A Rioja Alavesa wine, predominantly made from Tempranillo complemented with small amounts of Grenache and Carignan, aged for 24 months in new American (80 percent) and French barriques (20 percent). Medium intense ruby-red in color with a watery rim. On the nose, aromas of blackberry, mulberry, licorice and vanilla. The medium-bodied palate shows a very accessible, not overly complex wine with pleasant red fruit, abundant oak tones, a polished texture and extremely smooth tannins, but it lacks concentration and depth. Reasonable aftertaste with some syrupy accents. Not a wine to chase after and in my opinion seriously overpriced.
  
  Niet echt mijn lievelingswijn. Een Rioja Alavesa-wijn, hoofdzakelijk gemaakt van Tempranillo aangevuld met een beetje Grenache en Carignan ; hij rijpte 24 maanden in nieuwe Amerikaanse (80 percent) en Franse barriques (20 percent). Medium intens robijnrood van kleur met een waterige rand. In de neus: aroma's van bramen, moerbei, zoethout en vanille. In de mond: een middelkrachtige, zeer toegankelijke en niet al te complexe wijn met aangenaam rood fruit, overvloedige eiktonen, een gepolijste textuur en extreem zachte tannines, maar hij mist concentratie en diepgang. Redelijke afdronk met wat stroperige accenten. Niet direct aan te bevelen en volgens mij zijn geld niet waard.
