Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 92 points

  • Blind tasting for my guest Thomas, trying to match a Moroccan couscous. tasted after Pnp : dark hue, deep nose of under forest, and sweat blackberries, ink pot. Palate is silky smooth jammed with blueberries, blackberries, old tobacco, few tannins, ending on light vetal and bitter (89), matching poorly spicy couscous (as expected). far much better the days after without argon gas protection,; the wine is deeply fruity with the previous berries described, the bitter end disappeared, well almost, gained balanced and elegance and long palate. Remains a delicate wine and fragile that needs attention with food matching ; to easily overtook even with game dish. A bit disappointing for me, the purchaser of a great languedoc , but not for my guests wich guive a generous 92.
