Cork disintegrated, but the wine was fine. The wine looks inky colored. The legs are slow. There is heavy sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, blueberry, oak and violet. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.

By memory, two days after. Decanted 1 hour. Served fresh 16'C. Jamy, and fresh. Perfect balanced. An old world style but with more finesse and a perfect balance. Medium to long after taste. A great vintage and a great wine maker. But just a very good wine, not presumptuous.

(de Trafford Shiraz) Black with cherry meniscus; lovely black fruit and herbal nose; poised, but rich and concentrated ripe black fruit, berry, boysenberry and mulberry; medium-plus finish

Cork crumbled, but wine OK. A good cool climate Syrah. No pepper notes and not over the top. Similar to a good Washington State Syrah.
