Deep dark carmine, opaque, widely spaced legs @13.5% abv. Nose of blackberries, licorice, lead pencil, bay leaf, dark chocolate. Dry, medium (-) acidity, medium -medium(+) tannin, medium (+) alcohol and medium,,,(+)-full body. Blueberry, blackberry jam, earth, licorice, leather, vanilla and milk chocolate. Concentrated fruit, dense and with depth. Good length with pronounced role for the fruit notes and the firm, yet supple tannins in the finish. Very good.

A good bottle with with a very dark red/purple pour. Good dark fruits with the tannins still present to pucker our cheeks. Solid earthy representation of Sangiovese.

First bottle from case, likely bottom of the barrel. Dark purple opaque and loaded with sediment. Tannins still dominant and resolution with the fruit should happen within next 1-2 years. Needs one hour decant. A very traditional vinification.

(La Spinetta Il Nero di Casanova) #3; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-very bright; heavy roasted tomato; heavy cranberry cocktail; TASTE-heavy tannins; I do not like this wine; off balanced; very young; tannins are sharp & bitter and the fruit is fake-ish; not a good combo; very dry; ID-81; GV-81
(La Spinetta (Rivetti) Il Nero di Casanova Toscana IGT) Dark red violet color; cedar, tart plum and dried red fruit nose; tight, very tart plum palate with high acidity; medium finish (from very young vines)

Now this was really a lovely Sangiovese. Very dense and concentrated. Loved it.
