Quite lovely with elegant and light strawberry/raspberry fruit and a piercing acidity. Initially, the "chalk" is very aggressive but with a bit of air, it mellows out and yields a lovely balance. It is a wine that will continue to improve but the youthfulness is also very nice.

Louis Roederer tasting (Point Hotel, Athens): Pale salmor rose color A touch toasty, subdued red fruit, red cherry and currant, not many things going on here, could be a slightly off-bottle ? Palate again with lower intensity, more strawberry notes, ripe cranberry, med body, med carbonation, med finish

This was poured next to the 2015 BdB Starck. The Rose is more delicate and precise, with licorice, strawberry, with a tangy, lengthy finish. Wish I had another glass for today so I could calibrate my initial impression but nothing leftover.

Absolutely classy Rose Champagne.
Restrained, elegant, with a persistent finish.
