Blind I would have never guessed this has PN in it. It feels to me more like a southwestern thing (my closest guess would have been Grenache) full of garrigue and violets. Needs a little time to open ideally and let the ashy tannin settle. Totally dry, 12.5%

I suspect this summer it will be at its peak - not a Pinot Noir but a blend of some PN with the other most popular Loire grapes Cabernet Franc and Gamay with the dark bright fruit of Fronton’s Negrette. Perfect picnic wine but still very good on a cold March evening .
