Very nice and inexpensive good Chilean cabernet enjoyed with Kim and good friends neighborbill and Debbie at the annual wine sale at the Lake Hickory Country Club in Hickory NC. Good QPR. Good mouth feel, reasonably smooth, a big bold wine. Initially somewhat muted nose with oak, blackberry and red cherry. Primary flavors included granite, blackberry, red cherry and development of some mocha and tar as wine opened up in glass. Definitely recommend this wine at this price point but do feel that for not very much more their Classic series of cabs is better.

This was a typical Chilean cab but I feel that the Veo Grande does the same for less. Or the Concha Y Torro does more for the same price. Again a perfectly fine wine, and one I would be interested in trying again. I had been drinking 1-2 chilean cabs a week for a month or so trying to find my favorites and this was slightly above average but not spectacular.

- Brick color and aromas of black pepper, coffee and burnt toast. It's unbalanced and has flavours of black pepper and burnt toast with a medium body.

Winestreet Does Chile & Argentina (Kozlak's, North Oaks, MN): Good nose. Sweet, plummy, soft fruit and light spice. Vegetal finish.
