  • Fragrant and inviting bouquet. The palate is seriously good and full of intense fruit, slightly ripe as the vintage let's assume, wild strawberries, dried flowers and fragrant elements. Clearly present tannins but with the excellent fruit component and fresh acidity this retains (youthful) balance. Tasty marmalade flavored finish. This is a beautiful showing, on the verge of being too good to be "only" a Langhe Nebbiolo.

  • Good>Very good. A PnP followed over two hours. This is a nice wine, but I think it'll come down to whether you're looking for something more fruit forward vs something purely traditional in taste and performance. This was tasted side-by-side with the 2020 Lalu Langhe Nebbiolo, and was my favorite of the two in the first hour, but ultimately the Lalu showed my harmony, and elegance. That said, it's very tasty and will make many friends. I have the '21, resting, and look forward to opening it in the coming 24 months. recommended. Now, or in the next several years.

  • Wow this is above average Langhe Nebbiolo for sure. Wineswithmuscles has reviewed it better than I could, I will just add that this has real heft, a nice concentration and velvety mouthfeel while still really fresh and with a sapid red fruit. You can feel the Perno pedigree, there are lots of Barolo and Barbaresco out there that don’t reach this level of complexity.

I was only having a glass with Coravin tonight, I look forward to the rest of the bottle in the near future.

  • Very good Lange Nebbiolo. Lots of red fruit flavors. Had at Villa Ribota in Novello

  • Huge fragrance, both on the nose and seamlessly on the palate. A fresh red berry blast with some bramble emerges in a quite open, alluring Nebbiolo bouquet. Striking flow with a pliant inner sweetness and a mildly zesty undertow. Further aromas of dark rose, bright spices and a hint of alpine herbs join the harmonious ensemble. Pure and with a translucent feel, this is a joyful Nebbiolo with a substantial dimension. 100% fruit from Perno. Maceration and affinamento in inox only.
