Unmistakeably Chenin Blanc on both the nose and palate. Lots of wet wool and lanolin, along with peach and apricot notes. Acidity is outstanding, as is the concentration and richness.
The only thing that makes me pause is the price of this 1/2 bottle. You can get a 750ml bottle of excellent Vouvray Moelleux for around the same price.

I've had many of these in the past, and I think this may be the best showing of it yet. The residual sugar always stole the show, with seemingly little acidity compared to the massive sugar, but this bottle seemed much better. Wonderful nose of peach, apricot and the slightest hint of diesel fuel. Smooth, complex taste with balanced sugar and acidity, and a finish that goes on and on. Good wine, but I still think I like the 2005 LH Chenin Blanc from CSM better.

Very viscous. Color: Golden yellow. Aroma: Honeysuckle & Apricots. Tasting notes: Apricots, white peaches, and figs. Hint of orange zest on the the finish…..
