Appearance: deep and dark purple, no bricking. Nose: hints of vanilla, wet earth/wood, slight red/ tart fruit but minor. Palate:initial sensation is acid with nice fruit following behind, red tart fruit; not blueberry/plum. more tart red cherry. Tannins present but well integrated. Drinking well now, doubt it would improve, but I don’t have any sense of urgency to drink up my other btls.

Brickish color, raisin and alcohol, slightly port-ish nose, very flat, not offering much. not bad, but not that good either. UPDATE: threw about 3/4 of btl out. worst wine i've had in a long time. tough to get past the gym sock/old towel smell.

Deep red with brown tones in the glass. The aroma has many components that wax and wane. Sometimes spicy and alcoholic, other times dark fruits are present and even earth components. The initial taste has a nice blend of smooth flavors imparted from oak - vanilla and spice. The fruit flavor - perhaps black raspberry. It is not a particularly full bodied Amarone which is acceptable at this price point.
