If you are impatient with aging your wines (…like me, sometimes), it pays to open & aerate young bold red wines 5-6 hours before serving time.Tasting & reviewing this wine after it has been open and recorked for 1 day, and it is incredible! The aromas are pronounced & developing well with notes of black berry fruit, sweet baking spices, leather, dark chocolate, black licorice & cigar box. The acidity is luscious & mouthwatering, tannins are still present after a day (medium+) & there is a subtle orange peel note. Still young & will age very well over the next 4-7 years.
