  Medium ruby. Still very youthful in look and on the nose. Ripe bramble and cassis, vanilla, caramel, black pepper. Full bodied and high alcohol although this is quite well integrated. Tannins are fine but quite drying on the gums. Medium+ finish. This is very good quality and drinking well now, but would benefit from a few more years ageing.
