Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • By the glass. Four years have passed since I had the opportunity to taste this wine from the area of Cachapoal, in another vintage and remain the same impressions, namely: a powerful wine based on the carmenere grape with small residual contributions from the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Cabernet franc. It remains for 15 months in mostly new French oak barrels. On the nose stand out the fresh aromas of blackberries along with some markedly balsamic notes. Palate is much more serious, heavy and powerful, showing a personality of tannic wines, concentrated and with more room.
