  The wine is a deep garnet on the edges. The nose has medium plus intensity aromas of vanilla, coconut, clove, cedar, blackberry, cassis,pyrazines, mint, damp earth, char, smoke. The palate is dry with medium plus intensity acidity and medium plus soft velvety tannins, full body and medium plus alcohol. The flavor intensity is pronounced with vanilla, coconut, clove, cedar, blackberry, cassis, pyrazines, mint, damp earth, char, smoke. The finish is medium plus with mint, notes of vanilla and cedar. The wine is very good with depth of concentration, balance of the acidity with tannins and fruit nature complexity on the nose and palate and some length on the finish.

  Very good aged cabernet, has matured nicely but is at peak with weak tannins. Needs an hour or two to come into balance--decanting recommended.

  4th Saturday Group: South America & Spain (M&LA's): Double blind. Aromas of black cherry and red fruit with a subtle sour edge. Mixed fruit on the palate with softened tannins and a medium finish. Turns more red fruited than dark as it sits in the glass. 89+ pts.

  Vermelho rubi, fechado e brilhoso. Lágrimas bem formadas, persistentes. Nariz elegante. Frutas negras em profusão. Aromas em camadas definidas, geleias de frutas, anis, mentol e caixa de charutos. Em boca o ataque é elegante, aveludado é extenso. Novamente frutas negras em profusão. Notas de jasmim e alcaçuz formam uma matriz elegante e de boa persistência. Está no seu auge. Taninos macios, álcool educado e doçura correta tornam este vinho uma excelente experiência.

  On par with our last bottle three years ago: "8/13/2014 Is drinking very well, fleshy yet sophisticated with black cherry, blackberry, cigar box and other secondary characteristics. For new world cabernet fans, joy in a glass. Drink or hold."
