  • Tasted double blind. This is a well-crafted wine, quite balanced, with good complexity and a fine airiness. Still, this is very Napa-esque in its slightly overbearing sweetness and the wine shows a touch of heat. Still, was quite pleasant to drink.

Tn: Sweet sugary notes, sweet red berries on the nose. Slutty and a bit too sweet for me. On the palate the same sweetness and fruit is balanced by herbs, tobacco and some earthy notes. Fine structure, quite some freshness but with a bit alcohol heat showing. Quite light and airy feel despite all the sweet fruit.

    Decanting: No extensive decanting needed.

  • Tasted blind. Red berry fruit with fine sweet spice, cedar wood and a mineral layer. Fresh and juicy, perfectly round palate with a satin texture and acidity that provides youthful wildness.
