A very pleasant Gavi from Piedmont. Pale straw yellow color in the glass with aromas of fresh pears, apples and hint honeydew melon and tropical fruits. On the palate, a light bodied with slightly elevated viscosity…the wine’s fruit flavor notes reflect it’s aromas. Nice, essentially dry finish.

A restaurant buy. Good fruit on the fragrant nose as it warmed a little in the glass. The palate was soft and smooth with citrus flavours early. Peach and pear a little later with tropical fruit (mango especially). Subtle herbs (fennel?) and gentle spice towards the end. Quite elegant and understated; very drinkable and a good partner to pan-fried halibut steaks with buttery samphire.

Really nice Gavi. drank it over a family dinner on a cop fall evening in Chicago, goes great with Penne Alla Vodka. Nice mouthfeel, upfront tastes of ripe summer fruit and passion fruit, followed by nice lemon curd, rounded out with a nice acidity that is not overpowering
