  Took a bottle of this to Michigan and opened it with some friends.This is a large step up from the kabinett level version of this wine. yellow straw color. A really well balanced and deliciously appealing spatlese. Crisp apple notes with good minerality. Solid acidity. Great value for the $3 I paid. 90-91 points.

  Lovely spatlese riesling. Golden color. Nose of green apples, limestone, honey and minerals. Good amount of residual sweetness on the palate but in balance with the acidity. Great palate coating mouthfeel. Decent finish but if there was a shortcoming with this wine, this would be it. This would be killer with spicy fare.
