Sight: pale-medium yellow Nose: pineapple, citrus fruits Palate: crisp tropical fruits, light buttery finish, small amount of oak, a little forward on the alcohol but not bad. Medium acidity

$15.99 at Trader Joe's in Illinois. I get some lemons, generic citrus, lightly whipped butter, and a touch of a pineapple note. Round tannins. Definitely medium bodied with some weight to it. Not complex but a great QPR.

I served this in my wine course. Some interesting components to the nose - fennel salami is what comes to mind. Medium weight. Finish is one dimensional with sweet oak tannins. Still, the nose makes this worth another sip.

This is a nice Chardonnay. Nice balance, sufficiently crisp with a touch of oak for some lushness. My better half enjoyed it on Day 1. We’ll see what she thinks on Day 2. So far, it’s a winner … especially at under $15
