  ENGLISH:
  Nose: Mint, sage, gentian, aromatic cherries, black pepper, allspice, pomegranate syrup, some tobacco
  Taste: Sage, mint, graphite, overripe banana, sweet cherries, plum jellies, hint of white pepper, hint of thyme and pink pepper, pomegranate, manuka honey
  Comment: Ingeniously complex port, fresh but also tart and dry notes, complex, lots to discover
  
  ORIGINAL (GERMAN):
  Nose: Minze, Salbei, Enzian, aromatische Kirschen, schwarzer Pfeffer, Piment, Granatapfelsirup, etwas Tabak
  Taste: Salbei, Minze, Graphite, überreife Banane, Süßkirschen, Pflaumengelees, Hauch weißer Pfeffer, Hauch Thymian und Pink Pepper, Granatapfel, Manuka Honig
  Comment: Genial komplexer Port, frischen aber auch herbe und trockene Noten, komplex, viel zu entdecken

  Elegant and refined but also a bit boring. Lacks personality and depth. Alcohol seems to dominate a bit to much. Huge disappointment.

  Second port for me. The first time it crashed and burned (tawny), This time it was delicious! Decanted for an hour+. Nose was not very fruity, alcohol, spices, raisins, prune and blackberries. Palate was lucious and sweet, but balanced. Not as liqueur-ish as expected, surprisingly refreshing. The bottle was emptied before we knew it.....Had it with charcuterie, allround very nice match, but exceptional match with dark chocolate , gingerbread biscuits, and crackers with the local brown cheese G35!
