  n: cedar, mushroom, fresh cranberry, menthol
  p: nothing but smooth to start, forest floor, fine astringency and long but not nuanced finish. runs hot

  A touch of smoke, thyme, pepper, and red berries open the nose. The wine is medium-bodied, fresh, vibrant, and spicy with sweetness, and white pepper to add to its kirsch, and raspberry oriented finish. The wine is made utilizing a large percentage of 88% Grenache, with Syrah, and Mourvedre. Drink from 2024-2029.

  Had some Elizabethan a few years back, on a free shipping offer thought I’d try some more. Even with opening an hour before dinner, the wine doesn’t show much on first taste. But this might have been one of the best examples of a wine opening up! The fruit and richness emerged by the second glass, very good, in a modern style. Yum.

  A very pleasant surprise. Delicious.100% grenache and it tastes like it. Red fruit, looong finish, moderate acidity and dry. Not the absolute best CDP but a really good one for the price. A good value.
  The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like strawberry and blueberry. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.
