  • Big and pleasant surprise.
This has a fine and mature nose, with stable, wet soil, damp forest floor, wet hay, leather, tobacco, mushrooms and a hint of black truffles.
    Very nice and pleasant.
On the palate very good acidity, fine dry fruit, fine grinned tannins, good structure with a lovely sweetness and some earth on the finish.
A very fine aged and alive Barbera indeed.
