Cloudy yellow color, with an aroma that smacks of citrus, honey, and limestone. A palate of lemon citrus, melon, and stone fruit with crisp acidity is a perfect complement to white-flesh seafood. Silky mouthfeel, lingering finish, this is a seriously quaffable, everyday white. And at under $10, the QPR can't be beat. Underrated juice, but definitely drink now or seek out a more recent vintage.

Pretty dang good at $14 -- honey and herb aromas, soft and creamy and spicy in the mouth, perhaps a touch too much RS but just enough acidity and minerals to bring this honeydew-flavored wine (almost) into balance. A bit hot closer to cellar temp, but of course less so when served chilled.

Interesting chenin. Honeydew and pears with a nice mineral note rounding it out. Don't serve too cold b/c the fruit is more evident and sweeter as it warms up. Its fuller in body than I expected and the mid-palate has some apples and melon fruit to it. Not bad.

(Simonsig Chenin Blanc) Bright light yellow color; cream, chalk and menthol nose; tasty, creamy lime with great minerality and bright acidity; medium finish

A little to sweet for me, but very drinkable. Tastes of lemon and honey.
