  My notes say I had drank all of my bottles of this vintage, but somehow I found 1 more bottle! Anyway, part of a Ridge night with my wine group at a NYC Steakhouse. We had in order, 2021 Ridge Grenache Blanc Adelaida Vineyard, 2020 Ridge Pinot Noir Corralitos Gali Vineyard, 2020 Ridge Merlot Estate, 2018 Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon Estate, 2019 Ridge Zinfandel Boatman Graveyard, and a 375ml bottle of the 2009 Lytton Estate Viogner. We drank the wines in accending order of alcohol.

  So sad...my final bottle. There seemed to be notes of butter on the palate. For me, this tasted exactly as I expect a young Zin to taste. My 2nd favorite out of 7 zins at a Burger and Zin night with my wine group.

  My 5th of 6 bottles I purchased and I enjoyed this one so much that I'm bumping my score up a point. Unlike my other bottles, I only shared this with one person, instead of the groups of 6 or 8 that I usually drink with. Maybe having more of the bottle and no other wines to compare it to increased my enjoyment of this wine.

  I liked it, but some of my dinner partners didn't enjoy it. It somehow tasted more restrained than other Ridge Zinfandels I've had. Dark color, long finish. I thought it carried it's 14.9% alcohol very well, as it tasted very balanced.

  Part of a Zin and Burger night with my wine group. Unlike my previous bottle I still had some food left when we got to this one. At first I was concerned that it wasn't gong to be very good, as the initial taste was lacking in all the things I like about Zin. But after about 10 minutes in the glass (and it was open for an hour at this point), it blossomed. It still seems a light light bodied for a Zin, but it was very enjoyable.
