One of the most unique and interesting roses I’ve had though it’s really only a rose for legal reasons. Beautiful dark almost burnt orange tinted color. A palate of lovely acidity and body.

A lovely wine and (so they tell me) much in demand in the wine bars of Paris. The nose has a resinous, herbal depth to it - an interplay of juniper and wet earth. There are some cherries there too, and more than a touch of spice. It speaks of its origins in the warm south but without too much sweetness. There is a certain grip to it, and it makes for a good partner to food.
