As I said before weird producer for me his wines don't make you think of Chablis at all. On the nose lots of honeydew, honey and chamomile. The palate is again dominated by honeydew, honey, tropical fruits. Very ripe and lacking minerality for Chablis. This one is actually a decent wine, although lacking depth and complexity for its price point €36. When you pay burgundy tax you expect to get burgundy, or you really need to be able to make a next level own style. Something I feel like this producer tries but fails at.

Chablis (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Slightly anonymous stone fruit, melange, a little oak, sweet spice, again that slightly dusty quality. Juicy, fleshy, grippy, slightly drying tannic burr, fruit muted but travels long. Meh.

lovely nose of white pear, citrus blossoms, lemon zest, and even more flowers… a clear acidic line runs thru the palate as the fruit flavours mix with toasty notes, its edges softened by a chalky, dusty feel. very nice long citric finish.
a great surprise to me!

Moreau Naudet Chablis Horizontal and Chablis themed Blind Tasting (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): Steely yellow color; orange blossom on the nose, yellow fruit, flint, exotic and open, nice flinty back end, less focus but delicious, luscious and easy compared to many Chablis that take themselves too seriously.
