  A dream come true to finally taste Lodovico and even more fortunate experience to taste two vintages side by side, this and 2015. Made from a blend of 90% CF and 10% PV and Merlot. Aged for 16 months in new FR oak. Opaque ruby. Pronounced dense and complex aroma of mediterranean herbs, blackcurrants, leather, violets, lavender, smoky and meaty hints. Full body, powerful and very fresh with evolving multilayered flavours enveloped in silky and elegant robe from first sip till the lengthy slightly earthy finish.
