I never know how to explain the characteristics of a good Pinot Noir and this is good. The balance between berries, herbs/gun powder and oak is super yummy, both scent and taste. This is a burgundy style pinot ready to drink right away. Well done!

First encounter with Richard Kershaw’s Elgin Valley wines - simply exciting and pleasant cold climate stuff. The 20 PN Clonal Selection is bright and light ruby in the glass. Enticing nose brimming with red floral notes, cranberries, lingonberries and strawberry fields, earth and mushrooms. Palate is light-bodied, yet layered and cogent. Superbly fresh mouthfeel, m+ acidity, bittersweet symphony defined with lovely texture, fine tannins, and a dry, bitter, spicy finish. Up there with Jessie Saurwein and likes. Wow!
