From 75cl screwcap, P+P at fridge temperature, a big mistake. Struck match, smoky aromatics as expected, but the vegetal, unripe fruit on the entry, the nearly petnat level of CO2 and the almost "natural wine"-like maelstrom of the mid-palate (not to mention the crabby, mouth-puckering finish—raw turnip juice, anyone?) came as a shock given the fun we had with the 2018 Steinkrügle from about 3 years after the vintage. Right now this 2020 tastes best 90 minutes after opening, near room temperature. I know it somehow picked up 93P from Stephan Reinhardt in WA, so maybe all it needs is a few years in the cellar(???) 85P or, ahem, NR tonight.

Relativt anonym på duft, men frisk og god i munnen. Ikke veldig mye frukt og relativt enkel. Men helt grei drikke. Aldri smakt gutedel før, det virker som okei drue, men uten veldig mye særpreg.
