Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Very surprised to have to add this vintage to CT, given all the surrounding vintages were there. Decanted for about an hour or so. Subdued, but nice nose. Some aged, earthy notes accenting darker fruits. Tannin is mostly resolved. Ample acidity. A touch of licorice and spice. A nice, aged Brunello that went great with a filet of beef in a mushroom and shallot sauce. Enjoyed it.
