2006 Chablis tasting, Chardonnay, the way it should be?, Episode #569, 11/3/2008, (See more on Wine Library TV...) 89 points

(Domaine Bernard Defaix Vaillons Chablis) #3; COLOR-light golden; NOSE-coming through w/ a smoked wood component; a sense of unpaved gravel; a hint of pear; very pretty nose; TASTE-no Oak or Vanilla here; very crisp, concise & focused Chardonnay; really nice light & focused apple; good acidity; a little flabby on the mid-palate, but well made Chardonnay; good length; good balance; solid bottle; AM-88/90; GV-89
