  • served at the christmas dinner table at selkirk manor. shared with pat, ellen, mahesh, donna, giulio, frankie and grandpa pomponio. paired with prime beef tenderloin from montalbano's. this is probably the best abruzzo wine that we have had in 40 years of tasting wines from the region. rich dark color. beautiful floral nose. this wine had breadth and depth. full mouth feel. everything in perfect balance. reminiscent of the blackberries we used to pick on amboy road. course sedimentation adheres to the filter. enjoyed by all.

  • Very nice bottle of wine, great balance, depth of fruit and a moderate to long finish.

  • This wine was poured at the WS Grand Tour in May. This wine was a real eye opener. Enoselsa and I tried 3 Montepulciano's in a row at the tasting and both felt this was the best of the lot. A blackish red color and clearly the most concentrated and bigest of the 3 wines. Notes of blackberry and minerals with a candylike sugar character. Full bodied with a long finish. 91+ points.
