The bottle was a gift from Mr. Zaccagnini and given, unlabeled, directly from the winery's storage bin. A beautiful dark maroon in the glass with a nose and palate similar to a merlot, but with Italian style. It was an honor to have this bottle. Thank you Mr. Zaccagnini!

WIMLNR. Up front a few of us at the table got an unusual aroma that reminded us of TCA but it wasn't TCA. Not sure what to make of it. Once it finally blew off everybody thought the bottle was fine albeit a bit New World in profile except for 1 person that still thought it was tainted with TCA. No rating.
