  • Nice, easy drinking Cab Franc that drinks more like a Cabernet Saivignon than Cab Franc. Then nose is quiet, not the more typical Cab Franc expressive nose. Tannins are smooth and round with just enough acidity to keep simple, but very pleasant dark fruit flavors fresh and interesting. A full bodied effort that has the texture & weight of a ripe Cabernet Sauvignon.

  • Strong notes of mineral and underbrush on the nose. Lovely texture. There is plenty of fruit hidden underneath the alcohol, but needs time. The fruit gave way to more secondary notes after 30 minutes of air. It has improved two-fold after an additional year of bottle age. Has shed the tightness of its youth, but its better days are still ahead. Try again in 6 months.
