  • Deep purple red. Grippy tannic nose, lots of oak and strong alcohol, fairly raw and unrefined. Blackcurrant swims out as it airs. Young and bright tasting, peppery black fruit, oak, it's a little bit disjointed. Will give it some air and see how it goes. Stays tannic and medium fruited. OK.
Night 2, has integrated. Blackcurrant, medium tannins, a dash of peppery spice. Better.
