  • Croatian white wine from Istria: Malvasia Istriana. 13,5 % alcohol. Fermented and aged for 4 months, on lees, in a combination of new and used barrique barrels.

    Beautiful golden color.

Fresh, ripe and delicate aromas of ripe green apples, ripe peaches, lemon, brioche, yogurt, yellow flowers, honey, sweet oak and minerals. Powerful, fresh, ripe and delicate flavors of ripe peaches, lemon, yogurt, butter, honey, yellow flowers, oak, noble root and minerals.

Dry. Full body. Fresh acidity. Excellent balance. Excellent structure. Very complex. Powerful. Pure. Airy. Intense.

Long finish with peach, butter, honey, lemon and minerals.

An absolutely excellent and extremely enjoyable white wine. It combines ripe fruit with a fresh acidity and a very strong minerality. It has balance, structure, complexity, power and intensity. The wine improves substantially with air and performs best fridge cold. Should last at least 5 years in the cellar, but I see no reason to wait any further. 97/100
