Wow this wine was the favorite of everyone at a blind tasting. This Walla Walla cab was up against 4 Cali cabs and this was the standout. Soft tannins, lots of complexity and nice finish. This bottle was much better than the last bottle I had.
Popped and poured and that was a mistake tonight. This really needs a few hours in the decanter. Overwhelming oak on the nose and pallet. Very vigorous and long swirling and it just starts to show some fruit and flavor. Probably will love it tomorrow but not so much tonight. Day 2 was not much better unfortunately. Still very oak dominant on the nose and pallet. Disappointing.

Nice simple Washington Cab, well made, but not complex.

Nice at first on the palate though did not hold strong as the finish was weak.

Very ready to drink. Deep complex cab, excellent nose of wet oak. I have to get more.
