Strong nose of American Oak, berries, jam. Medium bodied, light viscosity, spicy, with hints of peppercorn, clove and cayenne. Long fruity finish with very mellowed tannins. Aged well, still has significant life. But suggest drinking by 2017.

Let the wine sit. It took at least half an hour for the tannins to come out, and with them came the fruit. Spicy nose with cherry and tobacco overtones with some pepper on the front. very enjoyable with steak.
