IPNC Weekend 2018; 7/26/2018-8/2/2018 (Linfield College, McMinnville, OR): Translucent bricked red color. Randy was wandering around the grounds pouring this from a double magnum. Wow, this was head turning and gorgeous, aged and elegant, mouthwatering, orange peel, citrus, tart cherry, pomegranate., dried earth and florals. One of the highlights of the evening. 93+ to 94pts.

Paired nicely with Steelhead in a lobster sauce. Super spicy, Pomegranate-strawberry, earth, orange peel with a long finish. Tasted extremely young, no hurry to drink up! Tart yet smooth on palate.

One of the most profound and pure expressions of Pinot Noir I have ever had. A truly extraordinary wine of immense grace, finnese and complexity. I like the entire Cristom wines, they are certainlly one of the finest producers of Pinot in Oregon, or perhaps the new world as a whole. This wine is only done is top vintages and produced in minute quantities. Very very well done. A must try if you ever get the chance to find this rare beauty.
