At downtown tasting room. Tasted after Sandy's, definitely bigger structure and tighter in comparison. Not much to add from prior notes . . . . Needs time, 4 to 6 years feels about right, promising, but no guarantees it emerges a butterfly from it youthful crysalis.

가져오는 서버가 오렌지 향이 날 것이라 했는데 굳이 따지면 오렌지 과일보다는 껍질에서 나는 향기에 조금 더 가깝다. 노즈에서는 붉은 과실류의 향기가 상당히 매력적인데, 약간 매운 듯한 향도 나기 시작한다. 팔렛에서는 산도가 아주 약간 느껴지기는 하지만 기분좋을 정도의 수준이라 입맛이 돌기 시작한다.

Update from tasting room. More open than previously, strawberry, sage, a hint of smoked brisket. A dash of petrol perhaps. Full bodied with pure red fruit, almost saline, good mouthwatering acidity, yet tannins show on the finish.
Definitely feels like this will open up, though the structure remains primary while the aromatics are starting to show.

Melville is not making good Pinot anymore. I'm a club member but now I change all the Pinot for Syrah. I may just quit the club as Chad doesn't want to hear this. He is trying to make wine as though he's in France. He should just move to France.
