This is fantastic -- best wine ever sampled from this house, I think. Quite ethereal, light and elegant, and flat-out delicious. Great aromatics too, and fine balance. Excellent.

(Tasted immediately after opening) Garnet rim. Moderately lifted nose reveals dense red fruit and very earthy/smoky tones. Sweet spices were quite marked, anise and cloves. This one has some time to run.
Will need to put another note up after it has some time to breathe

(Bourée Pierre Fils Charmes-Chambertin) Lots of herby, green shades over the fruit. Concentrated, with plenty of tannin. Some complexity to the very nice fruit. The tannin is borderline ripe, but the wine is very long. A classic and interesting candidate for the cellar.

Luis goes to Kenwood (The Kenwood): Elegant and Burgundian. Lots of wet rocks and crunchy cherry, along with funk, flowers and earth.
