Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 89.5 points

  • Tasted day#2
Nose - lively fruity bouquet , hint of coconut
Mouth - quite soft , fruity but resolved, still has some structure. A mature but very nice drink , impressive showing for this Rioja at age 26.

  • Full garent with a ruby core. Sour cherry, cranberry, dried leather, iron and stone dust on the nose. Medium bodied, tangy acidity and melted tannins. Nice red fruit profile with sour and dried sweet cherries, some cigar leaf and astringent, shredded bark. Very smooth, nicely balanced and a clean and fresh sweet / tart finish. Drinking lovely and seemingly lots of life left! Peaked at 93 points and then quickly faded to 89 an left a bit of a metallic aftertaste.
