Showing less richness than previous Boatmans but also with a high ABV. On night one this did show a classic Zin character and was balanced enough to be a nice dinner wine in spite of that high alc. Its a bit more deconstructed on night two with the pieces showing up less integrated. Light tannin and the lowish fruit level makes me think this one is a shorter term vintage. Still, 6 months to a year more rest would probably gives this a boost in expression.

Brighter and fresher fruit than the 18, 19 and 20. Still excellent, though. This has been a fun vertical.

Tasting at Ridge. Very lush and smooth though still will benefit from some aging. Maybe plum and red berries on the nose.
