  This wine surprised me greatly to the upside. It's certainly a California style chardonnay, but there's good balance, a full body, and creaminess across the palate. The oak is judiciously used. I get some strong fruit flavors in the mid-palate through the finish that I can best describe as a fruit salad. Overall, this is a fine wine, especially, for $35. I will buy more.
