Delicious! Sipped when opened and then 45 minute decant - opened up nicely and got even better with more time in the glass. Nice balance. Lingering finish. Smooth tannins. Great fruit. No rush to drink remaining bottles. Lots of time left ahead during which this wine will continue to develop and drink beautifully.

2013 Realm Cellars The Tempest

A bit worried as I removed the foil and pulled the cork to find some leakage up the cork onto the foil but, regardless, the wine was in very good shape. Thankfully the bottle had been stored properly in my 55 degree cellar from the day it arrived.
The ‘13 Tempest has developed nicely and is drinking beautifully at this stage with some great years ahead for it. Nice aroma and a long lingering flavor. A hint of vegetation when first opened and tasted but that disappeared after ~an hour decant.
A very enjoyable wine.

I'll keep looking to make sure my comments aren't misplaced. Thanks for keeping me on the right path. Second, I really like Carlisle wines, and their Zins in particular. I have been on their list but haven't purchased anything recently as I try to work down my inventory which got a bit out of control because I like the wine so much.
