Light gold with a distinct peachy pinkness. Aromas of marzipan, followed by more of the same, plus peach and apricot, on the palate. There are threads of minerality as it rolls over the tongue, and its noticeably full-bodied and super-ripe. A very pleasant and attention-grabbing wine; not like any Italian Fiano I've ever had, and I think its richness might have prompted me to guess its origin before I identified the grape. I think it would be a good match for chicken or fish in a creamy sauce: it doesn't have the acidity to go with the charcuterie and salad in front of me. A good wine, but at over £25 per bottle I don't think I'll be rushing back to it. Cork, 13%.

Medium-plus to high aromatic and flavor intensity. Rich full body with the texture of a high-sugar still drink, but not viscous and not the actual sugar. Ripe tropical fruit, yellow apple, golden raisin. Plenty of fruit sweetness, could be confused with sugar sweetness. Medium-plus-plus acid. Could be confused with a Roussanne in a blind tasting.
