  Deep ruby in color.
  
  On the nose, medium intensity, with scents of stewed cranberry, currant and vanilla. There is some alcohol burn in the nose, as well, hinting to high ABV, though the bottle only lists 13.5%.
  
  On the palate, the wine is dry, high acidity, medium to high tannins and high alcohol. The body is medium, with medium flavor intensity.
  
  Flavors of red currant, and stewed cranberries are prominent, with some blackberry, plumb and just a tad bit of oak.
  
  The finish is medium.
