Langton's Bordeaux En Primeur 2022 tasting (Langham Hotel, Kent Street, Sydney): Medium minus intensity aromas of red plum and berry over black plum, slight alcohol prickle, a little savoury quality, with time cedar and sweet spice. And that red hued fruit note translates to the palate as well, talc textured, woody flavoured, tannins persists with that fruit, slight alcohol warmth intrudes on the finish and leaves things a little too warm for me.

This is a great Hosanna! The wine is dark in color, with a boatload of black plums to match. There is richness, concentration, opulence, length, purity, and seemingly non-stop waves of cashmere-textured, black and dark red pit fruits, all touched by chocolate and spices. The harvest took place September 24 - October 6. Drink from 2027-2055. 96-98 Pts.

Im Gaumen mit Schmelz und Kraft, der Wein zeigt Opulenz, hat eine cremige Textur und sehr feines Tannin, diese Gerbstoffe machen sich erst ganz hinten im Gaumen bemerkbar, umhüllen die Frucht wie mit einem Seidenhandschuh.
