(Liger-Belair Thibault Nuits St.Georges Les St.Georges) Medium-plus colour. No real impact from the nose, but there is nice, understated complexity that doesn't seem at all barrel-derived. Very fine grain to the tannin and is set against lovely fruit. The finish is long with some barrel influence. Rather good and currently quite drinkable.

5th of 12, opened an hour, perfect cork and level, starting to round out, attractively fuller than bottles in 22, usual L-B polish, nudging an upgrade, upside, 12+ years. F (17.5).

This has been a very consistent wine, and it seems slightly more evolved than my last bottle 3 years ago with a little more complexity and tannins are smoother. Feels like it can go on for many years still though.
