  Transparent light colour. Warm nose, ripe fresh cherry & berry fruit. Quite an intense wine with a long powerful finish. Lovely balance with acidity and smooth tannins in the background, elements of whole bunch fermentation but not excessive. Will last a long time. Not as forward as the St. Rita hills, more savoury. next day, creamy taste but lacks a little complexity

  Black cherry, black raspberry, earth and spice notes on the nose. Medium bodied (13% ABV) with black cherry upfront, showing good roundness initially and adding some some higher toned notes as well as some hints of red cherry. Mid-body brings in additional depth as well as layers of black cherry, some red raspberry and tart red and black cherry towards the back. Tannins on the backside are in balance with the fruit. Acidity and tart notes also contribute to structure. Finishes with good length, mineral notes and spices. Mid-body opened up quite well over the course of three hours open and the acidity came into better and better balance. I'd expect these trends to continue and a sit opens up and comes together, should show more nuance and even elegance with time. I'll wait until at least Q1 2025 for my next bottle.

  Elegant, full of a mix of beautiful berry and cherry flavors (red fruits) and phenomenal acidity in perfect balance.
