Nose - rotting prune Mouth - disastrous, surripe, cocoa liqueur, mocha , a disaster. I haven't scored a wine in years but this gets a 66 for the record. Ugh. They are hanging in their heads in shame in Cahor.

Still big and bold with stewed raspberry and chocolate. On the palate, beyond my "typical" red wine, but good for what it is. Interesting and fun, but not really my cup of tea. Good to Very Good. thedrunkencyclist.com

Not bad but never in my sweet spot. As a $20 PALCB special, I have enjoyed our bottles. Milk chocolate and dusty tannins. The acidity has always been a bit out of whack and there is a bit of heat. Odd food pairing as well. Its big and fruity but without a great food pairing - maybe grilled meats?

I know it is sacrilege, but I popped this on Global Champagne Day. I had grilled a huge slab of beef, though, and I needed some oomph. Boy, did this have oomph--great flavors of mocha and blackberry with plenty of depth and quite concentrated. The tannins are fairly well integrated and this bottle faded a bit over the course of the bottle, though, so it might be best to get to the others soon. Outstanding. thedrunkencyclist.com

Very big styled dark wine with lots of everything on steroids. No rating as completely dependent on your personal preferences.
